Does anybody know the name of the new steakhouse opening in restaurant row on Waxpool, or if it's open yet?

You mean Shenandoah Grill? I don't think it's a steakhouse though.

Yes, that's it, thanks! For some reason I thought it was a steakhouse

There's another new restaurant about to open there as well. "Pizza and Play" or something like that.

Pizza Go Round- same guys owns Roccos and Spankys Shenangigans in Leesburg.

Shenandoah is open for dinner only and is not a steakhouse, it's an American cuisine place. they have a scotch and cigar bar away from the dining room. i am looking forward to trying ot- the menu is fascinating!

Are they the same people who owned Blues Brothers BBQ and the terrible Mexican place before it?

It look wonderful....I wonder why they don't have prices on the menu, though. That's something I need to know before going.

We finally tried it out last week. The food was either great or decent. However, the service... WOW was it slow. They had probably 1 waiter for every table in there. However, about half of them did nothing. The owners need to quickly adopt the Sweetwater style of waiting where anyone will help you.

The stuffed tater tots and deviled egg apps were good, but the desserts were not. The kids meals were good, my wife's salad was decent, but my kobe burger was rather unremarkable for $14. We went last Sat. and our waitress kept forgetting things, brought the wrong items, or was gone for long periods of time.

Anyone been lately. If they worked out the service issues I'd try it again.

Shenadoah Grill took our party of 35 with 5 minutes notice and delivered TOP NOTCH food and service. Food cooked to perfection- even the medium rare burger and medium steaks- alll hot, all delivered together. my short ribs were nothing short of scrumptious and The Man's filet was mouth-melty.

Krispy Kreme bread pudding topped it all off- it was excellent. Johnathan and Kelly were our waitstaff and they were fantastic, attentive and handled a rowdy group of 12 yr old ball players with ease.

GO BACK. it is worth it! (THEY ARE NOT MY CLIENTS.)

My wife and son just went by, and the place was all chained up with a sign out front saying that the landlord had assumed possession. We were just there 10 days ago for a delightful meal with and great service. Weirdness.

WTH? We had some very delish chicken dish at the fair they had out in front (the grill had a table set up). Unreal. That was awfully quick.

looks like a landlord/tenant dispute, but that's just scuttlebutt.

We just went there about 3/4 weeks ago, it was us and another table and it took FOREVER to get the food. We decided we wouldn't go back because of the cigar smell, we sat as far away as possible from the cigar room and it still stunk. My husband predicted it wouldn't last, but I didn't think it would be that quick!
