Per the Trash and Recycling information located on our website (accessible via the Trash and Recycling link on the left side menu of main website): http://www.broadlandshoa.org/node/228

You will need to contact Patriot and ask them. What is recyclable in one area might not be in another. It all depends on where the disposal company drops off the contents of their trash and recycling trucks. Contact information for Patriot is located on the page link I previously posted.

Thanks and did contact them (by email) before you followed up on your posting because I came to realize that it all depends on, as you said, what items are accepted by the company that serves our area. Will let you know what I find.

Put our trash out this morning, and it did not get picked up. Just wondering if we got it out too late, or if they didn't pick up. It is possible we missed it, because it did go out around 9 am, but we didn't hear or see any trucks today.

I didn't want to say anything about this but my trash never got picked up but my grass clippings did. Not sure if I missed the trash pickup as I put the trash out by 9 AM as well...Maybe the truck was full? Not sure....Oh well...can't do anything about it now.

They picked up here, but it was early then normal. Probably because a lot of people didn't put their cans out so the routes went quicker then normal.

They were out today. 9am can be way too late.

Guess the trash folks wanted to get off work earlier...oh well. No big deal.

No, that's not the reason. As someone already stated, there were a LOT less people who put their trash out, thus they went through their normal route MUCH more quickly that normal. They went through their whole route, including your street. Next time put your trash out earlier and don't blame them for 'wanting to get off work earlier'. Get your trash out earlier.

I figured we missed it. Back in the garage until Thursday. So glad we have bi-weekly pick up!

No trash truck came down our street yesterday, and I was up at 6am so I would have heard it. Yard waste was picked up in the afternoon but trash wasn't.

Please email Maureen and let her know what street this occurred on so we can let Patriot know. Thanks!

Is it possible that Patriot skipped some streets unintentionally? Not making a big deal out of this ....Normally, I always put my trash out by 9 with no problems both days of the week. Looks like they came earlier...like I said--No big deal. *shrugs* Just glad that we have trash pick up two times a week.

Our trash is always curbside by 0700 and it's usually picked up at 7 or minutes after. Yesterday, the truck didn't come by until 0930.

Why so much hostility to members on here lately? There's a lot of over-reading into people's comments that really seems unnecessary.

Don't want to point to specifics, just overall seeing a lot of "get over it" type jibes, that don't seem warranted. Read through this thread and you'll see what I mean.

I'm with Brit as well on this. I just think its plain rude and could inhibit some folks from posting on the forums due to being "flamed".
