Can anyone recommend a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist in the area. Looks like my options include Dr Lee at ENT and Allergy Specialists Of VA or Advanced ENT Specialists in Lansdowne.

Any recommendations for these or others? Many thanks

Ive be to Dr Lee. No complaints. Nice guy - and his wife is the allergist there too - Ive seen her also. Nothing like 30+plus needles in you and alergic to nothing - :)

oh yeah, I know the feeling of spending time, dollars and anxiety getting zillions of tests just to be told there's nothing wrong with you!

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking more at their ability to treat inner ear issues/dizziness.

Getting an appointment with Dr.Lee is a problem... When I needed one badly, I couldn't get one immediately with Dr.Lee. The next appointment was 2-3 weeks later. But Dr.Lee's office suggested another ENT (Dr. Mellis @ Northern Virginia ENT Associates) to get an appointment immediately. Luckily I was able to get one for next day.

Thanks for all the recommendations, I finally went with Dr Lee his wait is just under a week. I previously tried Otolaryngology Associates and the wait for new patients is 6 weeks! Can you believe it, even in the height of summer?

Just to chime in with an update, I've seen Dr Lee twice now. We all have bad days I know, but I find his staff and bedside manner a little flippant. He knows his stuff though. The business is expanding too, so he must be doing something right!

Saw him this week in fact, and easily made an appointment for the next day.

I took my son to him a couple of weeks ago and had the same experience. Dr. Lee was very abrupt. That's why I'm looking for another ENT.

Dr. Bahadori is really good. We have used him several times over the years. He is great with kids and very good at explaining everything to parents.

I had several unpleasant visits with Dr. Lee with my 7yr old daughter with severe swimmers ear last summer. Will never go back there.

Isn't it odd? How do these places stay in business let alone expand if the service they provide and which we pay for is below par. Dr Lee treated me like I was a total waste of his time, and even scoffed at perfectly reasonable questions I asked about meds and their side effects. He did a pretty good job all told of patronizing me.

Perhaps Dr Vicky Lee is better, I must admit most of the patients there seem to be children in line for allergy shots, which is her department.

Dr. Bahadori all the way! Loved our experience with him for our daughter's removal of adenoids and tonsils.

I just realized that there are two Dr. Lee's. One is with ENT & Allergy Specialists of VA (he's the one I went to and didn't like) and the other is Dr. Lee of Reston Ear, Nose & Throat.
