Free! Parakeets (budgerigars)

    New home needed for 2 parakeets (budgerigars). We have recently discovered that they are the same sex and not compatible to stay together. Cage, seed and other accessories free with one bird, other needs a separate cage. PM with interest, need to go in the next 24 hours.

    I have a really nice cage for sale, and will add in a bunch of toys. It's got a solid bottom section that helps keep seed from falling out onto the floor.

    There was a person on Craigslist looking for parakeets, but not hand fed ones. Saw it under the wanted section today...

    Well, at least the shelter does a fair job adopting out homeless birds. Why don't you make the shelter give the cage and accessories as a condition of the adoption. The birds will find a home much quicker.
