I have to put out there that I had a great experience with Harris Teeter's management last night. A mistake was made on my online pick up order which resulted in me receiving 3 lbs. of cod! Needless to say, I went back to return the items and not only was it an easy return, but they gave me a $10 gift card for my troubles!
    Thank you Harris Teeter!!!

I've had issues with the online service before, and they have gone more than the distance. Once they really screwed up my order, the manager called me apologized and the next week he brought the out the order himself and took 50% off the order. Which is a lot.

I always use the online service, and tell everyone how good it is. Now I think they even do it on until 8 pm and Sundays. If you haven't tried this service you should once, best $5 bucks you'll spend.

It is truly the best extra money spent on groceries and if you pay 16.95/month you can go as many times as you want with no extra charge. Perfect for a mom like who me who needs to pick up a couple things I forgot.

Jersyhokie, do you use it that often? I thought about doing the monthly thing but I only go once a week. Is it really worth it?

I forget things often so it is beneficial for me to do the monthly fee. I go at least twice a week and have done this even before I started the online ordering.

But wouldn't it be better if they didn't mess up your order in the first place? I was grateful for a deep discount and free delivery when they messed up my order for party platters, but could have done without the 20 minutes of anxiety as they figured out what went wrong.

I have used their on-line shopping many times, luckily without any mistakes. The staff has even called me to suggest replacements for out of stock items. Even ordering flowers has been easy.

It's a great service to use during the holidays, whenever I'm preparing for company, or when I'm feeling under the weather. The price most likely eliminates costs for impulse buys. My favorite aspect is being able to double-check my fridge and pantry before placing my final order.
