They did a great job the first two or three times they came, however each time thereafter the end product got worse and worse. They also broke a mirror, and did not leave a note or call us to inform us. We got home saw the broken mirror and called them to ask what happened. She admitted that her team broke it, but said "we picked up all the shards." No attempt to pay for the broken mirror was made. Nice people, but it just was not working out.

We are happy with J&O Best Services, LLC. Julio Funes is at Sales@jobestservices.com or 703-296-9850. They were recommended by my neighbor and also clean her house. They are our 3rd cleaning company. First was a cleaning lady recommended by another neighbor, but seemed too sketchy in terms of payment and the second company stole items out of the house. We've used this company for several years now with no problem. Good luck with your search.

We hired Dream Maids....they quoted me at $85 a month.

Maid Bright wanted to charge us $169 a month.

Thank you for your response. I got a flyer in the mail that quoted me $100. Wasn't sure if that was "going rate" for the neighborhood since Im new here. I'll call dream maids ;)

So I called Dream Maids and they quoted me $150. And that was to clean only 2 out of the 3 bedrooms (third hubs works out of all day). The guy said its because I have 2 dogs. Having 2 dogs (1 being a husky) I am constantly vacuuming and dusting anyway so I didn't think it was worth it. Called the girl for $100 and she came with another lady and they did a great job. Thank you again though for the referral. I'm still learning the "hood.":D

We just used Bethy's Cleaning Service to do our move out cleaning. She charged $250, but did an amazing job (and I didn't have to do it!). She just quoted me $130 for bi-weekly cleaning in our new place, which seems fair as that includes cleaning our finished basement and I have 2 dogs. Her number is 703-200-5006.

Going to tell you who NOT to use. The Maids. Did a terrible job on our last move out. Ex-only cleaned 3 out of 4 window sills in the living room, didn't wash the laundry room floor, left their garbage that they said they would take away in the garage, and a few other things. They were expensive and not worth it since I had to go back over a lot of stuff.

I am happy with her. Her name is Jasmine 703-505-5397 You can tell her that you got her name from Susan if she asks.

Seems like they all start out great then get complacent. I've never had anything stolen that I know of, but it seems like they bang the heck out of the furniture with the vacuum. But I wonder if all these cleaning people are legal? What's the over/under on that one?? I'd also like to know who stole from Hoya86 so we know who NOT to use.

TeamDonzi, Sorry - we don't remember the name of the company. We never filed a claim, because the items stolen weren't worth the hassle. I think the most galling thing was the lack of shock, apology or concern when we called the owner to complain and terminate their services. It was like business as usual for them. That's what sticks with us most and not the company name, unfortunately. Given the attitude I would be surprised if they were still in business, or at least doing business under the name they used when we hired them.
