Has anyone on this forum played around with a BeagleBone Black?

I'm experimenting with one, but having trouble with it. It has debian linux on it. I am trying to use a plugable USB bluetooth adapter on it, but cant get it to work. Cant figure out if it is a Hardware or software issue. Anyone willing to assist?

To enable Bluetooth service on BeagleBone type

    systemctl enable bluetooth.service
    systemctl start Bluetooth.service

    Thanks mikeo

However, I think my problem is much more fundamental than that. I dont think my USB devices are being recognized at all. I can power it and network it via the mini USB.. but I am not sure that the regular USB is working at all. I dont even see the blue LED glow that says it recognizes a USB device being plugged in.

The mini-USB port doesn't provide sufficient power for the BB to host (power) USB devices. If you're going to go that route, you'll need to power the BB via an AC adapter. So yes, it's a hardware issue :)
