How is Trump Rally at B Woods not a topic??

If you know anything about elections then you know it goes both ways. People don't know their candidates, don't know history and can't recall what happened a month ago. They react to sound bites and media one-liners. And with Trump, there's the celebrity status attached.

And let's not forget the Veteran who gave his Purple Heart to Trump.

 

I think we need to Correct the Record here. First and foremost every a Trump supporter is a racist. Once that is established, then insults can focus on how stupid they are.

I'll resend you the memo on "how to deal with icky people that I disagree with" to assist with future engagements.

 

Really? You are going to stand by that? You may have neighbors and friends who were there. Would you say that to their face?

Sarcasm is tough on the Internet. While I don't consider myself a Trump supporter, I think there's some need for rebalancing immigration, improved veteran care, reassessing goals in the Middle East and focusing on the US economy.

My experience has found that it takes about 2-3 rounds of trading talking points until you get labeled racist, mysoginist, alt-right, etc.

Its been said to my face and it's a huge turnoff to have your principles/character attacked because someone has a different set of priorities. That seems to be identity politics for you though; everyone gets a label.

I've officially hit my politics fatigue for this year though. It's reassuring to know that my vote isn't going to change the course of the election so it's not my fault either way.

If nothing else, it has been eye opening to see which media outlets make an attempt to convey some truth or substance vs those that operate as campaign talking pieces.

 

I think perhaps we agree on one point. The media fans the flames and is the big winner as we consumers digest the constant shock and awe.
