Has anybody been to an ear doctor who helped cure/ease positional vertigo?
Can you recommend the doctor? How long did it take to cure (if it did)? Helpful input is appreciated. Thanks.

I had this two year ago. I was diagnosed by my doctor, but didn't want to take a new medication to resolve it. Looked it up on line and saw that you can try something called "epley maneuver". There are several videos. I tried it at home and my husband did the maneuver on me and resolved my vertigo. First you need to determine which side the vertigo is on to focus the maneuver. Good luck!

I experience BPPV several times a year. The most effective maneuver for me is called a "half somersault". I can usually clear it up within a day or two using that maneuver 2 or 3 times a day.

Hi, pvcv & JLC - Thanks for the input.
JLC - my chiropractor also mentioned the "half somersault". I have to see it in YouTube again. Anyway, does it bring on the vertigo when you're doing it? Thanks.

Unfortunately, yes. Immediately afterwards I'm nauseous and have a headache. They fade away. It's unpleasant in the moment but it's worth it to me to alleviate the symptoms sooner. If I wait for it to go away on its own, it could be a week or more.
