Question: Lawn Signs

I have a general question regarding lawn signs other than supporting a political candidate. For a political candidate, I think its one sign per candidate that can be erected 60 days prior to the election and must be removed 6 days after the election. My question is with the other signs for example Absentee Ballot, Class of 2020 and 2021, Dr. Fauci, I believe signs, Dream signs, MAGA, etc....

What are the guidelines for non-political signs? I know with COVID there have been a lot of flexibility with signs but I was just wondering if there are guidelines as I could not find any in the documents I searched. Thanks!

The school signs are relaxed due to COVID, the "other signs" (MAGA, Dr. Fauci) are technically not allowed.

 

How are the "other signs" not allowed? If they are within the parameters that are listed

Bullet number 3 "Political Signs: No more than three political campaign election signs are allowed and each sign shall not exceed (4) square feet maximum. These signs may be placed no sooner than 60 days prior to an election date and must be removed 5 days following the election. No application is required for these signs."

Just asking as I saw that a few days ago. Is there another class of sign that is not allowed?

 

Political campaign signs, not political "statement" opinions.
My opinions... MAGA Vote for Trump would be okay. Just MAGA is not. Other signs would require an application submitted to the modification subcommittee.

 

Ok. I've not see a MAGA sign before nor a Dr. F. But I can see that. Thanks for clarifying that.

 

So the HOA would need to identify these non-conforming signs when they do their normal rounds and then have the homeowner take the appropriate steps to either remove the sign or submit an application to the modification subcommittee?

 

Is the HOA even making the rounds?
