    The stealth pads are gone now....maybe we'll see more police on that stretch of Waxpool since they did their 'survey'.

    And gyphon, they weren't in Broadlands - there were some on Waxpool by Carisbrooke and another set behind Verizon.

    It's not always for speed reasons, either. Sometimes, it's done for traffic studies to get a true reading of traffic counts, including speeds. VDOT uses them, too.
