New Game kids play...

    So yesterday i'm out walking my daughter around up Village Dr....and as i come up on the part near Windy Oaks/Southern Walk Pool...i see three kids circling around on their bike. One kid just fell on the ground and acted like he was hurt...so as i came up on them, i was about to see if he was okay, but he got up...hopped on his bike...and moved on. so i stroll past the pool and loop back around..and as i'm heading back down Village, one of the other kids did the same thing. So now i'm suspicious....what they were doing was waiting for cars to start coming either into the neighborhood or heading out of it....and they would start out into the street and then fall over and act hurt.

    the purpose===haven't figured it out. So if you have a kid who's in the 9 - 12 year old range with a bad shaggy 1970's haircut, tell them to get a new hobby. falling over on their bike when traffic is coming isn't even a little cool.

    I had someone do this to me several months ago. He pretended to fall of his bike on the path as my son and I were walking. I could immediately tell that he was pretending and I raised my voice over his fake crying and said "get up you big baby and stop the fake crap, it isn't going to work on me".

    His eyes got big as saucers and he quickly got on his bike and rode away. My 4 year looked at me and asked me if the boy was really hurt. When I said "no, he was trying to trick us", my son said "is he a bad teenager who throws poop in the pool?". :D

    If you want to help moderate, join the tech committee and volunteer your time to the community. Once you've built some trust, we'll let you moderate. Until then, go back to the Politics forum if you're not interested in what we have to say here.

    You've done your fair share of off-topic posts on these forums. If someone posted a message each time they thought you were off-topic, my mailbox would be filled... Which is probably why so many folks have you on their 'ignore' list.

    And before you even think about it, I'm not attacking you here, so don't bother flagging this with the moderators. I'm just making a point that your little off-topic remark was not necessary...

    :clap: That's too funny!! Every time I tell my boys that anything is closed, such as the pool because of thunder or Chick-Fil-A because it's Sunday, they talk about how it must be the "bad people who did 'whatever' ".
