Can we start a forum on Sports? Just like we have one for General Topics and Nature etc...what about sports? People can talk about anything they want related to sports. Local adult leagues, LCYS, professional sports etc.

How do you know that phitness? Pretty unfair assumption if you ask me. Yes, there are a lot of bandwagon jumpers out there, but there are also many, like me, who grew up in New England and have been following them since we were little kids. We remember Steve Grogan, Andre Tippett, Craig James (back when he was a player and not a sports talking head), Mosi Tatupu (one of my favorite player names of all time), and, unfortunately Tony Easson (wait, I think he just got sacked again!). And some of us even bought season tickets for the Pats back when you could still get an entire season of games for $300 (or even less).

Have you ever owned season tickets for "your" team???

How can you possibly know whether mama is a bandwagon jumper based on her one post?

Wow I forgot about him. I designed his house way back when in Dallas. Yes that is right Dallas is where his main home was. I was very young too back then. Brought back a few good memories Pats fan . But I will always be cowboy fan:)

No band wagon jumper...I was a fan during the Berry years, Rod Rust , :eww: and the Big Tuna...my boys worshiped at the altar of Bledsoe and we drove on "Flutie Pass" yes there was a road named for that auspicious event!

Well he did play at SMU before they lost their program, but let us not forget that he did play for Washington too. That would be the Washingotn Federals of the USFL.

Hey Madcat! Wow, is that the spread? Did the Skins even break the 150 total offensive yard mark against the lowly Cardinals? The Skins D is good, but I'd lean toward giving the 17 at this point!

I'm not a gambler, but if I were I would take the Skins and the points. I do believe that New England will win the game handily (unfortunately), but 17 is a huge amount of points to give.

17 is a lot of points to give, but Washington's offense is not particularly strong (averaging about 20 points/game to the Pats 40) and the Pats have already covered spreads of 15.5, 15.5 and 16.5 this season.

I think the Pats win at home. I don't like the spread (that's kind of why they put it there), but they've covered 7 games in a row and if I were a betting man--which I'm not, except for my weekly Holdem' game--I would ride the hot hand and bet on them until I lost...

Let's bet for a beer. That way, we get to meet and probably learn we agree on more things than we disagree on. Plus it will at least make the game interesting!
