Thanks for the beer offer. Right now I am up to my throat in unbottled beer, not really...5 gallons. The BBA will be uncorked next weekend hopefully. It is being bottled today...so 10 days...Friday/Saturday.

I was really was just wondering about Veterans, I had someone ask me how many lived by me and I realized I didnt know.

My hubby is a Navy veteran. So there is at least ONE more in SW. And there's an active duty guy across the street from us too.

My hubby is a Marine veteran. I can think of four other vets and two active duty in my neighborhood.

This is kinda what I was thinking. There probably are a lot of us Vets out there. Sometimes it is nice to hang around other vets.

Even though I am politically active in Vets issues this thread has nothing to do with that.

5.5 years in the USAF. Should have been four, but the government had issues with math after we closed Loring.

I would have never thought that there were this many veterans and active duty people in this area. It is kinda far from most bases, but it makes sense since a lot of former military flock to defense sector jobs, and we all know how many of them are in this area.

    Good to know.

And yes beers will be had. One of these days.
