In and out in 10 minutes at Broad Run HS at 9:30am (granted, I did have the "short line" due to last name initial. Those with A-E initials had to wait about 30 minutes)...

Went to Eagle Ridge about 9:30 and was out by 10:00....good number of people but they are being efficient and moving the line along pretty well. The end of the line was inside the hall when I got there and it took 30 minutes from there to be finished. When I was leaving cars seemed to be pouring in the parking lot...definitely getting more crowded. I think alot of people who tried going much earlier were coming back b/c I heard a number of them talking about how long the lines were at 6:30 am this morning. One lady said the line was wrapped around the school very early this morning. It was great to see so many out to vote this year!

Did anyone vote electronically? If so - what kind of control was there in place to make certain you didn't vote twice?

You are issued a "one time use" programmed smart card. Insert the smart card into the machine and follow the screens. They recycle and reprogram the smart cards.

At least that's how they did it when I voted Friday night.

I was at the middle school, I waited about 35 minutes until I had a ballot in my hand, but I was in line at 5:45am.

Hillside - "M" line 10 minutes at 10:45. If you were S-Z, even less!

    Happy Voting!

Voted at Eagle Ridge at 630am. Took me one hour to get through the line. At 730am the line had shortened.

When you get inside the school it's best to ask if you can move ahead to your last name letter line. Most of the lines where you check in didn't have a line, but the hallway was backed up.

    Pics posted from this morning.

voted at 10:30ish at Eagle Ridge. Took less than 30 minutes even in the longer lines. Dashed over to Starbucks afterwards for my free coffee :)

If you're last name begins with A-C, J-M or T-Z those lines were very, very short. Probably 10 minutes total. When you first enter the building the A-M line is on the left and N-Z is on the right. Pay attention to the worker who comes through the line looking for folks with last names that match to the shorter lines.

    GET OUT THE VOTE

Arrived at Eagle Ridge at 11:15 -- total time start to finish = 35 minutes. Lines were significantly shorter when I was leaving compared to when I arrived.

It seems strange to me that there is only ONE electronic voting machine? I probably could have been out faster if I had done paper....

Same thing over at BRHS. One e-vote and a ton of paper... I voted around 8am, lines were very long for A-E, not terrible for F-J, rest of alphabet was In&Out (3 other lines - or I should say no lines). Next time they should think of a better way to split up the lines.

Got there at the same time. Boy was I relieved that my last name begins with a less popular letter of the alphabet!

The poll workers did a great job of herding voters.

I showed up at Dominion Trail ES in Ashburn Village at 11:45am. Walked right in, no line for checking in or voting. Great!
