We hope you'll be able to join us for upcoming FREE Workshops in the community during March. We have several local events (including the next three days right in Ashburn) before heading back out on the road. There is no need to register--just bring a friend, spouse or neighbor.

See below as well for a special DADS ONLY Workshop: "Straight Talk for Dads--How to Get the Respect You Want."

My promise to you? You'll laugh a lot, experience several "Ah ha" moments when the lightbulb goes off and walk away with a dozen very practical strategies that will help your child at home and in school. Plus all events are FREE and there is no need to register.

    Workshop for Parents & Teachers
    Keys to A Stress-Free Home & School

Do you want your child/student to take responsibility for his homework, morning routine and chores? Need help channeling defiance and disrespect into internal motivation? Ready to calm your explosive household? Want to learn 10 Brain Boosting strategies to help your students in class?

Join us for a humorous, practical workshop with best-selling author and nationally-recognized expert Kirk Martin, who has trained over 45,000 parents and teachers. Celebrate Calm specializes in working with intense children, including families affected by Anxiety, Sensory issues, Aspergers, Autism, ODD, OCD and AD/HD.

Martin will provide practical strategies to:
    · Create a Stress-Free home-eliminate yelling, arguing and whining.
    · Improve focus, attention and behavior in class.
    · Create stress-free discipline and homework time.
    · Channel disrespect and defiance into positive experiences.
    · Develop vision, motivation and responsibility in teens.
    · Relieve anxiety and sensory integration issues.

Medication, nutrition and sibling issues will also be discussed. A Q&A session will follow the Workshops. The Workshops are FREE to the community. Teachers, parents, grandparents and all caregivers are encouraged to attend.

Getting kids to control their anger, 10 year old BOYS to be specific, ahem.

Bickering and always having to be right.

Not respecting Dad as a parent because he has become a buddy.

Making weak efforts if any AT ALL on chores.

Disrespectful treatment of parents- rudeness, dismissiveness...

not MY kid of course- this is al for "a friend".

    mine is a perfect ANGEL...

anyone who has never gone to a Celebrate Calm seminar should really make the time to go! you find out how MUCH you are doing right as well as ways to handle challenging moments in parenting. THANK YOU KIRK!

your course should be a quarterly training requirement for school teachers and administrators- you really know how to help adults see the BEST in kids!
