This is a thread to voice your complements about anything- just to pass along good service, good citizenship, charitable actions, the little things that make your day go better. Here's mine:

Thanks to whoever it was that threw my newspaper from my driveway up onto my front porch. It was a nice start to the morning!

When I checked my email this morning...the message I found was a sound file from my musical partner. He had recorded happy birthday for me with every instrument available, 3 part harmony, and like 20 layers of vocals. it was awesome!

Despite some frustrations and issues, when compared with most of the neighborhoods and planned communities in the Washington D.C. area, Broadlands really is a wonderful place to live! My wife and I have often commented about the abundance of trees and green space in Broadlands compared to other commnities, we have an abundance of retail and restaurants very conveniently located, and the majority of neighbors are friendly and look out for each other. I could go on and on extoling the virtues of B'lands! [IMG]

I've got 2 shout-outs! Both of these guys are great neighbors and have helped me tremendously while the mister is on business travel. First, a big thanks to John for making sure my daughter walks to school safely every day and second, big thanks to David for fixing my son's walker and for the extra eye he and his wife keep on us. You guys rock!

THANK YOU to my neighbors who called the police to report a prowler.

I am home with our toddler and saw a person running accroos our patio and a few minutes later multiple Sheriff's rang my door bell asking if I was 'alright'. They stated they got several 911 calls reporting a prowler tryig to open our garage window.

THANK YOU for looking out for your fellow neighbor.

    Several 911 calls?

That's great. We should never assume that "someone" else has called 911 in cases like this. Glad multiple neighbours of yours helped out. :)

Thank You to our children's fabulous teachers! I for one couldn't teach a class of 25+ kids, and so many of them do it with a smile on their faces.

Kudos to the teenager I saw today who was driving the speed limit, not on her cell phone, and who came to a complete stop at a stop sign while signaling which way she was turning :2thumbs: You go girl!
