Not yet but I have been trying to get some.

My understanding as of right now is that Andre will be back and will be running lessons again like last year. However this year he is going to add a 4th level to break things up more.
All swimmers will need to be evaluated before registering for a class. Classes will start the week of June 22nd. I hope to get evaluation dates posted soon

I am a Curl Burke swimmer who is a junior coach at the Curl Burke Stroke School. I am going to give private stroke lessons this summer in Broadlands. PM me if you are interested.

I recommend Potomac Swim School they offer year round lessons in a 91 degree pool which is amazing for small children and the class ratios are 4 children to 1 coach. They have regular ads in the local newspapers and a website at http://www.potomacswimschool.com/ . They are an awesome group of people.

I saw some adult classes in the Ida Lee Rec Center program guide.

I know we did a couple of adult lessons here in Broadlands last year. Assuming Andre is back, I am sure we will again this year.
Otherwise I know I have seen them offered at both Claude Moore and Ida Lee in the past.

Lifetime Fitness offers swim lessons (don't have to be a member to participate). They are cheap compared to some of the other programs out there, even for non-members.

What would be an estimated fee for a Beginner Level adult swimming lesson per session?

    Staci,

Where will this information be posted? On the forums or on the HOA website? Just wondering where I need to watch for it.

Will there be minimum requirements? My 4yo daughter took "mommy and me" classes at Potomac Swim School from 6m-2yo, but has not had any real lessons by herself. Will these lessons be offered at that basic level?

    Thanks!

Applications should be at the pool. Information is also in the June newsletter - due in your mailbox this week. I'm expecting information to also be on the website shortly.

Andre will be holding two swim lesson evaluation days next week.
Wednesday June 3rd he will be at SB pool from 11am until 1pm and on Saturday June 6th he will be at SW pool from 9am until 11am.
If these times do not work for you please see Andre at the SW pool for so he can make other arraignments.
