I gotta dumb question here, but I am trying to learn more about bikes. (thinking, just thinking about getting a bike)

What makes this a hybrid? Does that mean it is designed for both road and off road riding?

 

It is a 15.5". Could fit someone about 5'5 to 5'9'.

Hybrids are basically built for paved road use, but are also good on dirt roads and gravel. Not suitable for stump jumping or rugged trail use. (Unless you are like me and used to take your '10 speed' off road).

It really comes down to fit. Some women's models have slightly different dimensions than the men's, so just go and try it out. If it is comfortable, then you should be good.
