Please let me know if you have experience with a great local neurologist. Thanks!

Here is the link to a great Neurology group. https://virginianeurologists.com/home.html
I saw Dr. Peters. He was very good. He is very thorough, direct and professional. He is not warm and fuzzy. I prefer direct and knowledgable over bedside manner. They are located in Reston and I was able to get an appointment quicker there than to a neurologist in Loudoun County.

Also, Dr. Cintron was excellent. The only problem I had was getting an Appt. to get the test results.

Not sure if you needed a pediatric neurologist? Our daughter recently saw Dr. William Young at 44055 Riverside Parkway. Phone # is 703.585.6192. We were impressed with how thorough exam was and testing. She needed an MRI and we got it done right away--Dr. Young's office was very quick with the results.

Audrey, I'll just throw this out there even though you're looking for a local doc. If you are looking for a pediatric neurologist, I would highly suggest that you check out Children's Hospital in DC. They also have 'local' offices where their docs 'travel' out to during the week, which would be closer. Our family has been extremely happy with the quality of their neurology department.

If you're not looking at anything 'pediatric', I apologize for the intrusion...

    Good luck either way!

Thank you! To clarify, it's for an adult friend of mine.

I also highly recommend Dr. Cintron. I do NOT recommend Dr. Richard (Reston Town Center).

My oncologist prefers Dr. Cintron, but I did not see him because he did not take my insurance.
