We are planning to change our gas range and the the gas pipe behind the gas range needs to be modified to fit the specifications of the new range. I am told a plumber is what I need. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    fyi,
the existing gas pipe is easily accessible. The pipe needs to be shortened from about 8 inches long to about 2 or 3 inches long. No dry-wall concerns here.

    Thanks,

FHFurr has been good for us.

If they can't help you, we just had www.aspengreengasworks.com fix our outdoor grill gas line. The guy did a great job, and was very helpful.
