Can anyone recommend a good prenatal massage around here? Something that is going to be a real therapeutic deep massage, not a weak rubdown. I saw an ad in the latest Broadlands newsletter about someone that I think does them out of the home. I was going to decide between that, the therapist at Health Advantage yoga center in Herndon, or Amenity day spa. Looking for a good blend between economical, good massage, and nice relaxing spa-like experience with the aromatherapy and all.

Would also love to get these regularly (something I never did even once with my first two pregnancies), so if anyone knows a place that gives a discount on a mutliple massage basis, that is also a plus.

    Thanks!

She works out of her house in Ashburn. Best massage I've ever had, I used her for my last trimester and went weekly. She is phenomenal. Great prices and she is also a former nurse and knows lots of stuff about pregnancy, post-partum, etc. I enjoyed my time with her and hope to go back in the next nine months ;)

I would not recommend Natural Spa or whatever by Panera. I have been there a few times and although the massages were okay-ish, the manager is pretty unfriendly and they do not contribute to anything in our community as far as I can tell.

Red Door has excellent massages...Can't remember the gal at Fairfax that did mine, but I am sure if you ask. Not everyone there is "certified" for pre-natal.

I went to Lansdowne Resort and got a massage with my first pregnancy. I had a wonderful experience. Not sure if they offer discounts. Enjoy!

I went to Hair Port in Sterling for one with my first pregnancy. I'm not a fan of massages to begin with so I didn't like it. However, I've heard that same massage places have tables with a hole in it so you can actually lay on your stomach for the massage. That might be nice!
