I'd like to get some wings for this weekend's football games. Who in the area do you think has the best chicken wings for take-out?

I'm only interested in traditional Buffalo-style wings, so please, no recommendations about honey-mustard, teryaki, boneless, etc.

    Thanks for your recs.!

we really like the wings from Broadlands Pizzeria- typicallyvery meaty and not too messy- lots of flavor. Mangino's has saucier wings that are also decent.

I'm from Buffalo - have yet to find chicken wings that are authentic. But if you're not used to the best - it probably won't matter. Good luck. You could make your own too! That what we do.

Oh here we go. Can't get a decent pie outside of NY, can't get a decent wing outside of Buffalo, no good cheese steaks outside of Philly.... We know... and I can't get a good bowl of Pho outside of my mom's kitchen.

Now just tell them where to get some good wings!

I like the wing factory, they are pretty good, and the choices are great. There is buffalo wild wings, but I haven't been to one around here. Did they open yet over by the Weggmans? They were great when I was is school in Texas.

We love the wings at The Buffalo Wing Factory in the old Shoppers plaza. I always order mine extra crispy as I do not like soggy wings and they are awesome! Their traditional wing sauce (mild, hot) is really good too!

I order them with the sauce on the side so they stay crispy and not too "saucey" if there is such a word.

The best wings I've found in the area are at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. If you go during happy hour and sit at the bar, I think they're $6 and you'll get roughly 10 very meaty wings and the sauce they use is superb. I live right down the street from the Buffalo Wing Factory, so I've been there a lot. I like their wings okay, but Clyde's blew me away.
