Deck Contractor Recommendations?

Considering adding a deck to the house and wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations? Anyone we should stay away from? I did a search through the archives and the last thread was in 2007.....

Kenny Williams construction did a great job for us. Good follow-up to fix small issues, even years after the job. Highly recommended!

 

Wish I had the same response as SchwarzFamily. Kenny Williams Construction did a terrific job on our screened-in deck, but they went MIA after the project and never returned phone calls to fix under warranty repairs. Several phone calls left to both brothers and neither ever called us back. We ended up paying someone else to do the minor repairs.

Scott has been very professional, finished the job much quicker than the quoted date, and gave us an incredible value/price for our deck.

My quoted day was 11/15/09 but he will be finished with the deck today. Right now the only thing missing is a gate at the stairs, and a final inspection.
