Thanks Dwarflord, that confirms we're all having the same routing issue.

Looks to be all clear now. Hopefully it will last. I still like FIOS though.

Anyone having issues today, Wednesday? They seemed to just start for me, same kind of DNS issues.

Hmmmm, doing okay on my end so far, knock on wood...

What are you having issues getting to?

Yup, problems here. I can get to the main page of many sites, but when I click on a link the connection times out. Example: I can get to NHL.com, but I can't reliably get to capitals.nhl.com.

It took me three tries to get this site to load!

I was wondering if changing DNS servers would help. You changed your router DNS settings, and I'll try and do the same, but I have one question:

What is the interaction between my computer's DNS setting and the router's? I've never quite been able to grasp if one overrides the other.

    Thanks!

    John,

I depends on how the router is set up. For the FIOS routers, mine was set up to act as a DNS server, so the DHCP lease would provide the routers IP address as the DNS server. With the default setup, you can either change the DNS server on your computer or on your router and it will work. You probably have to flush your local DNS cache as well (ipconfig /flushdns).

    Hope this helps,
    Brad
