    [FONT=Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Hey Everyone,

    Casey and I are thrilled to come back "home" for seven more free workshops this coming week in the area. We have morning and evening events throughout the week. Here are three big differences this time:

    1. We want kids ages 9+ to participate. It's very powerful when we can engage kids and get them to take ownership for their attitudes, homework, emotions and choices.

    2. We want more Dads. Typically, Moms scope out the workshops first, then send their hubbies. We're going to be giving Dads some very practical tools so come on out. You can sit in the back, play on your Blackberry, whatever you want to do. Just be there.

    3. We're going to be addressing more sibling issues and Casey will be speaking more. Kids like listening to a 16-year-old more than an old, balding guy :)

    The Workshops below are FREE
    and open to the public. The live workshops are incredibly fun and helpful--you will leave with at least ten very practical tools you can use the next morning in your home or classroom. We just ask that you bring a couple friends with you.

    Will you please do us a favor? We want to have a huge impact on the community. Please forward this announcement to:
    PTA/PTO groups at your child's school--invite all the parents out!
    School Principals, counselors and special education teachers
    Church and synagogue
    Local Moms, MOPS and parents organizations
    Online support groups, parent listservs, Yahoo groups and Facebook pages

    Email kirk@celebratecalm.com and we can send you a flyer to spread the word. It's easy to put in kids' backpacks at school and post in churches.

    these are excellent workshops- our family has really benefitted from Celebrate Calm workshops and the CDs. since all 3 of us listen to them we all help and remind each other to reign it back in when any of us start to get spun up and about about to lose control.

    thank you Kirk, for helping my family to communicate more lovingly!
