Does the Naruto Japanese restaurant offer hibachi service like Nagoya?

No. Sushi, teriyaki chicken, etc. I've been there twice no... sushi is very good. Kids love the teriyaki bento boxes.

We were going to go for dinner tonight (a Sunday) but I'm glad I checked their website because they are closed on Sundays! We'll have to check it out another time.

Same thing happened to us a couple of months ago... except we found out when we got there and the door was locked.

Make sure you buy a gift certificate from Restaurant.com... great value.

Since Nagoya is average and Naruto doesn't have a grill, I usually to make the trek to Sakura in Fair Lakes for my Teppanyaki fill. What's the story with Benihana in Dulles Town Center? Years ago they were the best when there was nobody else. How are they these days?

We went to Otani in Chantilly instead. The chef and the food were great!

I am amazed that you found Nagoya average. I have friends who live in Mclean, Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria who come HERE to eat at Nagoya because they have been to Benihana, Otani, and Sakura and find the food at Nagoya better.
While I'm not questioning your opinion I am just shocked. Perhaps a second try would be in order.

We went to Benihana's the other night. It was ok. They sat a rather surly couple with our family, so that kind of dampened the atmosphere. The food was fine. Our waitress was a little odd but the chef was entertaining.

I've been to Nagoya once after hearing the rave reviews of it. I was surprised that I thought it was just okay. I think I just like the spices/sauces better at Otani. I'd eat at Nagoya again, though. I'm no hibachi or Japanese food connoisseur and didn't try the sushi so it certainly may just be an issue of personal taste preferences.

Hopefully I'll get to use my gift certificate to Naruto soon and see how I like that one.

Like I said. Everyone has their own tastes :) We don't eat the sushi either... And perhaps I need to give Otani a second chance as well!
