Gateway Gallery and Gift Shop is having a grand opening on June 12 and June 13...11am to 6pm

Come enjoy art, wine, and some of the best pies in Loudoun County!


Loudoun's newest venue for the arts is now open! The Gateway Gallery and Gift Shop, a cooperative marketplace for area artists, has opened in a bright and inviting space in the Hill High Orchard Building, just west of Round Hill on Route 7 - a landmark destination considered by many as the gateway to western Loudoun. Thirty area artists staff the gallery and provide a stunning array of textiles, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, woodworks, printmaking, painting and photography.

The gallery shares the renovated Hill High facility with the stylish Bogati Bodega, a wine and tapas tasting room, the community favorite Hill High Country Store and pie shop, and the relocated Round Hill Arts Center, a local hub for arts instruction. Co-op President Meredith Hilt says that after months of planning and hard work, "the Gallery has turned out even better than we'd hoped. We are so fortunate to have an energetic group of talented artists who have conquered every challenge, from forming the business to preparing the gallery space. We've also had fun during the process!" The Gallery and Arts Center are planning several exciting arts events in the coming months; at the Grand Opening on June 12 and June 13 from 11am to 6pm several member artists will be on hand to demonstrate their craft and discuss their work with visitors. Refreshments will also be available. The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday and holiday Mondays from 11am to 6pm.
