Cheapest fireworks?

    Anyone know which stands / places to get the cheapest fireworks today?

    Looking to get an assorted box set and some sparklers.

    I don't know the answer (yet) but I noticed in the shopping center across from Costco in Leesburg, the first buy one get TWO free sign I have seen.

    Quick drive to PA you'll get the best choice on stuff at a great price!

    We got a packaged box at WalMart, then drove across the street where they had buy 1 get 2 free and picked up some things there.

    costco has some stuff too.... virginia fireworks are too safe and boring though ;)

    3 hour round-trip drive yesterday. Though if you plan ahead and go prior to the end of June, they do buy one, get 2nd for a $1 and it includes the big ones.

    Did you have to sign a form that said you would be taking them out of PA? and you had to show a out of state license too? Weird huh?

    Yeah, what was that all about? Good start and then....NOTHING. I noticed one exploded near the ground and then not much happened after that. Maybe that had something to do with it.

    Yeah I was thinking it had to be a malfunction since it was only ~10 minutes long... still, i hope they get their money back and nobody got hurt 8)

    I thought they did a good job for an HOA running it, isn't it all volunteers? We had a clear view of the last platform, they had a lot of problems with it. The bottom caught on fire and I think broke the firing order. They tried lighting them by hand but looked to me they gave up after lighting a few and literally having to jump back. I think thats why the grand finale didn't go off. They also had a pretty nice fire going on with lighting up a tree and some bushes from a rogue firework.

    The rest I thought was great. The ones that shot up like tracer fire criss-crossing rocked.

    They need to find a better launch platform, or make it so its not so easily able to catch on fire.
