    You mean, Mainiac!!! Ayuh.

I am looking forward to trying out the lobstah rolls. Usually I have family bring down live crustaceans and I make my own rolls, but sometimes I'd really like to enjoy the product rather than doing all the work! Panera has them, but they're not so great...especially with the bread they come on. I've been following that Red Hook Lobster Pound, but have yet to venture out to DC to get one. Jackson's is so far my favorite in this area, but the last one I had was very, very crunchy because of the shell. So, I'm definitely looking forward to trying this place out!!!

Then you will have to come to our house next time we have them.

We can let Dianna do all the work! :D

Just stopped in here to take a look. Place was busy and hostesses were very friendly. Clam and oyster rolls look promising. They open for lunch on Oct. 4.

I know this restaurant just opened, but since it's tradition for my wife and I to go to a seafood restaurant on my birthday, we're checking it out Friday night!!

I visited yesterday around 4:30 and ordered a Lobster Roll to share with my wife. It came with grilled corn on the cob and good Cole slaw. The corn muffins are delicious and so was everything else. Everyone was very friendly and the manager came and spoke with us.

I was kind of skeptical of going so soon because of comments here and on Brambletonian. Then I read where someone said the Lobster Roll was great. Anyway I can't wait to try more of their food and I will be returning.

Have you had an official New England lobster roll before? How did this one compare? Jacksons and Passionfish rolls are good but I still dream of the ones I can get on Cape Cod.

If anyone tries the whole-bellied fried clams I'd love some feedback. I plan on going tomorrow night. As a New Englandah this place brings a tear to me eye.

    Hope they're wicked good.
The ones in a bucket from passionfish became my entree last weekend - 2 buckets of whole clam bellies with fried pickles and ice cold brew :)

Well I hope they have the right rolls otherwise they better delete the "Maine" from their menu. My Maine-born-and-raised better half will have to make an official call on the authenticity of this place.

Yes............the rolls will tell the story! And will they be lightly toasted?

Too bad this is the end of the summer, I could go for some steamers too.
