    Hi fellow gmail account holders- did you get this email about the google buzz lawsuit? is it spam? is it real? does it really matter for anything?

    My interpretation was that yes it's real and no it doesn't really matter for anything.

    My understanding of it is that Gmail users won't be getting any money out of it. Basically Google has to pay the money to the lawyers and to set up some privacy education crap. If you feel like you deserve money from Google because they exposed your personal data, you have to opt out of this lawsuit and then sue Google yourself. I wonder how many people are gonna do that?
