My vehicle was broken into last night and the perps stole my briefcase, a key ring with many valuable keys, and my GPS. I'm on Fernbrook Ct.

They left behind a mini basketball hoop, a pumpkin and a scarecrow. Please PM if any of the latter items belong to you and you would like them back.

    More info...

The deputy said that there was a string of vehicle break-ins last night. Keep your car doors locked, I must have forgotten to lock mine.

I'd really like my stuff back, so if you see a black soft-sided Swiss Army briefcase (filled with scriptures and other religious/church-related items including a red binder and a black journal) or a garmin nuvi 780 gps in a black case with the silver writing 'GPS 01' on the back, please let me know.

You may want to take a walk along the bike paths. Several people have reported that some of their "work" stuff is dumped along the bike paths near their home since the perps don't want to haul that home with them.

I would also take a look in any of the outside trash cans.

Please DON'T leave valuables in your car!!!!
These thugs would have just passed you up if they had seen nothing in your car. Take it in your house and don't give them any temptation.

    C'mon man...use your commen sense.

Doesn't look like he's wearing gloves. No prints?

Nice video. Looks like one of the cheaper IR cams, but got a good shot of the guy at least. Hope someone nails him.

Yep, at the beginning you can see the glowing eye effect that IR cameras do.

They should make sure the school resource officers take a good look at the video.

Update - Most of my stuff was recovered in some of my neighbor's yards. Probably some teens without better activities to participate in. Thanks.

I love the homeowner use of the camera. If even a few homeowners have hidden cameras installed and the videos end up on the internet, that's a huge deterrent to thieves and will protect the entire neighborhood.

I knew it....Some kids just cannot stay asleep in bed. Needs money prolly to support some kind of habit or addiction. Who knows. But Im sure that the mom and pop are pleased to have to hire lawyers now to defend their kid. Must be nice to receive a phone call at that early in the AM from the police asking them where is their kid, etc.

    5 words:

PUBLIC DEFENDER and SIT IN JAIL.
if my kid was on video doing this you can bet he'll just be pleading guilty and taking whatever sentence comes down.
