Anyone know what project is starting on Waxpool at Loudoun County Pkwy?

    I couldn't believe how empty it was yesterday morning. Between the light at the ice skating rink and my office in Chantilly at Westfields it was 13 minutes! A few weeks ago that was more like 25 or 30 minutes.

    It was only 1 cycle turning right from LCP at 8:50am. I'll take it!

    took it this AM and once last week and the construction enhanmements do seem to make a difference.

    today it might have been easier due to election......

    once all the construction around the LCP/Waxpool are done, I am positive it will make a big difference, both morning and evening commute....

    Last Tuesday at 8:15am, it took 20 mins to turn right. Today, nothing at 8:10am.

    Well, it did make Waxpool going east in the AM better. Problem is now 28 is even worse than before....

    I didn't notice any change in Waxpool going West in PM.

    Rt 28 DOES seem a lot worse lately in the AM. Waxpool moves until you hit 28, then it's brakes all the way to the tollroad. What's the deal?

    I believe the "enhancements" to waxpool and the overpass at LCP/rt7 have just flooded 28.

    I guess backups from the Toll road to the Waxpool/28 intersection are the new norm....
