But I'm glad about the recycling being picked up on Monday since our bin overfloweth. Thanks for letting us know about that, Maureen!

And, you know, even if we DID have trash picked up on Thursday, I don't think I had any where to put my poor trash can. The plows made a mountain of snow in front of our house, so I would have to shovel out a hole for the trash so the can wasn't in the middle of the already narrow road :eww:

 

And it's not just the trucks navigating the icy roads but the trash collectors having to carry heavy bins over slick pavement.

 

Ok, no trash picked up until Monday, so take your garbage back off the streets. Please.

what happened to recycle pickup today, I received an email & voicemail that we were having pick up today & Thursday. My bins were out this morning & only my regular trash got pick up

 

Our recycling didn't get picked up until a few hours after trash.

 

Ours trash was gone but the most of the recycling was left behind. They took two card board boxes but left 4 others. My neighbors bottles and cans were taken. But my two overflowing bins were left. Frustrating that I needed to take it back to the garage in hopes the weather cooperatares on Thursday.

 

We had our toter out and lots of cardboard boxes filled with more recycling next to it. They took the cardboard boxes and started to leave when I ran out the door to ask them to take the recycling toter too. The guy said he didn't realize it was recycling too. I don't think they're trained to look for the smaller recycling toters.

 

Different trucks are sometimes used for recycling and trash.There are a few split load trucks which pick both up at the same time, but generally two different trucks come at different times...one for trash, one for recycling.

Our recycling was picked up pretty early - before 10 am I think. The trash was picked up sometime after lunch.

 

Garbage was picked up but no recycling. We left our recycling out until about 9:30 then brought it back in to the garage.

 

Unless the HOA office is notified of the location of these misses I cannot resolve the problems. Please let me know your location.

 

They came thru earlier than usual to pick up recycling, I saw them pick up my neighbors' recycling; even though I knew they were coming (and told my neighbors!), I didn't get mine out early enough

 

I live on Ridgeway and they did not pickup our recycling yesterday. It seems they just skipped us - I put it out early all the neighbors bins were still full. Not sure if they were overloaded or not we have the large trashcan size bin.

 

Please call this into the HOA office with your exact address so Maureen can make a report to the trash company as well as keep the board of directors appraised of all issues. The office number is 703 729 9704
