We're looking at a package that includes two days admission to Hershey Park. Would that be overkill? Or is there enough to do to actually enjoy 2 days at the park? I'm not sure how big it is. (My kids are 6 and 7 and not really interested in water park type stuff.)

I saw a thread from a few years ago that talked about a bridge to walk over to the zoo for free. If that is still the case I could see that being a plus.

It varies. Do you want to spend time at the attached zoo? because you could spend partial day at the park and the rest at the zoo then the other full day at the park. If you are not interested in the zoo (it is part of the park's admission package) and not interested in the water park, then I think 1 day would be enough for the park alone. There is also a museum and chocolate world in Hershey which are fun.

VERY interested in the zoo. I didn't realize that was part of the park admission, too. Thanks!

It's just that the Hershey Park package we're looking at already INCLUDES the tickets to Hershey Park!

One day should be fine for the park itself. You could spend a few hours at Chocolate World if you are interested in that - there is a fake factory tour that is fun for kids plus some other activities.

I believe that if you buy a 1day ticket, you can enter the park the night before at like 4 or 6pm. For my kids who love the waterpark, we'll probably do 2 nights next year.

I think there is enough to do to warrant a two day park visit. You'd be repeating some rides, but my family likes repeating their favorite rides. We've gone and stayed at the campground and used the Park's bus service to get there first thing in the morning for the 1 hour early entrance for resort guests. By early afternoon it's really crowded so we go back to our camper and hit the pool, have dinner, relax. Then we hop back on the bus and spend a couple more evening hours in the park.

We don't feel rushed and can skip things that have long lines and return to them later when it's not so busy.
