One of our Siamese cats snuck out sometime last night. Probably when I was putting the trash out. She did not have her collar on. If you see her please let us know. We live in the townhouses near Vestals Gap and Demott. Thanks!

Her name is Sophie and she will come if called. She's very friendly and yes vocal. I hoping someone let her in their house last night and that they'll let her out today since it's warmer. We've had that happen once before. I've also reported her lost to Animal Control. I'll report back when we find her.

That's great! I'm pretty sure I saw her earlier today, but just read this post. If it was her, she IS very vocal. :)

That's good news. Hmmm, I wonder if the chilly weather kept her from straying far?!

She's very vocal but not very loud. She loves to be outside and is very smart. I can normally go outside with her and she'll follow me around like a dog and go back inside when I tell her to. She's different from most cats I've had that are either stubborn or just ignore you. She's gotten out several times in the 4 years we've lived in the Broadlands. Most of the time it's my own fault. She never seems to go far so I'm not sure if the weather makes a difference or not. The biggest difference this time is that her collar had come off a couple days before and we couldn't find it. That's what concerned us the most because we didn't want someone to think she was homeless. In the past we've received calls from neighbors who told us she showed up at their house. Either way she was happy to be home and her brother (another Siamese) finally quit crying. He's not usually very vocal but was very vocal while she was gone. Thanks for the concern everyone.
