Went today for lunch. Had the buffet, which is $7.99 and includes a drink. The buffet had a salad bar, multiple types of pizza, and different types of pasta. Overall I'd say the buffet was good. The variety of pizza was good (cheese, veggie, meat,etc.). The pasta they had (chicken and veggie lasagnas, spaghetti with meat sauce, etc.) was also good.

They also had a game room with a couple of video games and a lot of ticket redemption games. They also had 5 Playstation 3's hooked up in a separate room for you to play for free. My kids will love this place!

It was a good lunch and we'll be back to try it again.

Nice, we'll have to try it!
One thing I don't like about CiCi's is I don't like the pasta selection. It's cheaper, but it sounds like maybe this is better quality.
I wonder if they do birthday parties?
And last I looked, no website or FB page. Maybe that will change soon.

we went there for our daughter's 3rd birthday - they'd just opened and hadn't opened the buffet yet - the food was great and the place was spotless and they could not have been more kid friendly. it was a great experience and we'll definitely have to go back soon now that the buffet is set up!

Is Pizza Go Round similar to Cici's?

We went to Pizza Go Round on Friday. I haven't been to Cici's so I can't compare the 2, but to us, PGR is like a mini Chuck E Cheese with better food. The kids had a blast playing with all of the games. Their seating options are nice, in that if you have small children, you can sit on the side with the games, and be able to eat and watch them play.
There were 4 different pizza options available on the buffet when we went. They also had sausage and peppers, pasta with sauce, wings and mini (sausage?) calzones. Maybe some other things too that I'm not remembering. The salad bar was okay, but enough to fill me up. The buffet price also includes ice cream for dessert and that was a big bonus with the kids
The wait staff, managers, owners, etc all came by our table to make sure we had everything we needed. One person told us it was the busiest day since the day they opened and there were only 30 people in the whole place.
Great option right here in Ashburn!

If anyone isn't familiar with CiCi's pricing, this sounds like a very good option.
At CiCi's an adult buffet is 5.99 but you have to pay an additional 1.69 approx for a soda.
And, if you want wings, those are additional. They do have dessert, but no ice cream :)
So for about the same price you're getting more it sounds like.
I'll still visit CiCi's because I like their kids eat free nights, and I do like their pizza, but I'm glad this is here too!!!
Does Pizza Go Round have kids pricing or is it $7.99 across the board?
I really wish I wasn't preparing for a beach trip or I'd haul myself over there this evening. Off to the gym.

Would this be a good birthday party alternative to Chuck E cheese? Are there enough games for, say, 10 kids to play at the same time?

Sharse, I'm glad you posted that because I just got a response from them regarding birthday parties. I'm going to copy and paste here. It sounds very promising but the only downfall I see is that the party room only holds up to 14 kids. That's really all I want to pay for ;o), however for $6.99/child I could have at least tried to invite her whole class instead of picking and choosing.
    Here's the response:

Hi Karen. My name is Cathy Cooper and I'm a manager at Pizza Go Round. We would love to have you all here for a birthday celebration!

There is no room rental fee. The price is $6.99 per child plus tax and 18% gratuity on final bill. You would have 45 minutes in the party room to eat, do cake, etc. Then you can stay as long as you want to play games. This includes pizza, french fries and unlimited soda refills. I'm not sure if you've been here before, but all the games take quarters and the tickets they can win can be redeemed in our prize redemption machine. The kids also get a "loot bag" with a few little toys and 10 tickets. The birthday girl would get 50 extra tickets for the redemption machine and each birthday guest would get an extra 25.

We also offer a special voucher only for birthday parties where you can get $25 worth of quarters for only $20. You are more than welcome to bring a cake, decorations etc. Unfortunately we do not provide them. We also have chocolate or vanilla ice cream cups for an extra 50 cents. We also offer the adults at the party 10% off their bill if they order off the menu. Some parties have ordered some appetizers for the adults to share. We also have a buffet that can be an option for adults. It runs from 12-2 and 5-8. Items include wings, fresh pasta dishes, handmade pizzas and an awesome salad bar.

The party rooms hold approximately 12-14 kids.

I look forward to hearing back from you!
    Cathy Herndon Coope

I actually just stopped in there to take a peek. I met Cathy but didn't have time to chat with her, so I took her card with a promise to call her later. My son was with me (turning 8) and he seemed really excited about it. They have playstations on 4 screens and a bunch of other games. Was definitely like a small (and cleaner) Chuck E Cheese. Unlike Chuck E Cheese which has games for the younger ones (and that climbing area) I'm not sure kids under 5 or 6 would have fun here. But I could be wrong... it was a quick buzz in and buzz out to see it briefly.

The only downside could be if they have tons of regular customers while you're there with your party. I could see the play area being really full and unmanageable. I think we'll do our party there but schedule it at a bit of an off-hour so as to avoid the regular dinner crowd and try to have more games to ourselves.

And since the games all take quarters, it will be really easy for each party giving parent to determine their own budget, rather than having a blanket package price!

I just talked to Cathy on the phone and asked her if there was flexibility in the menu for birthday parties. (I'm not excited about pizza and fries, nor is my kid. He was excited that they served pasta.) She said absolutely! Just tell her what we want and they'll make it work. LOVE that kind of customer service.

Yep, the one thing that concerns me is that if the place is busy during our party. Since they're fairly new I'm going to assume that it won't be so bad.
Everyone there is SUPER nice and seem very eager to be a success and for everyone to have a good time. And although they're new, they appear to really know what they're doing. If I remember correctly, they own other restaurants.
One thing I also like is that if there are parents who want to stay but don't want to hover, they can leisurely eat at the restaurant side during the party and have a date night. They give the adults 10% off of the menu if they're affiliated with the party.
I'm happy to support a local business like this though! It's good when things turn out that way.

Went Sunday. Great Price - Food is above average... pizza is better at Sal's and B-lands Brick oven. (But more expensive...)

A few suggestions (If they read this!)

    1. Kids (at least mine) aren't Feta cheese people... they like cheddar, provolone, etc... a little improvement to the salad bar to make it less Greek would be wonderful.
    2. You have a entire Brick Oven from the previous tenant and you use it for storage??? Even if you just offered an upgraded pizza on your menu... put it to you. It's a shame to have that great oven and let it sit there.
    3. Maybe I'm wrong but the prizes seem to require an ENORMOUS amount of tickets for anything decent. Example: We played out about a roll of quarters... got 7 or more tickets with each one. We wound up with about 350 tickets. That got us nothing that wouldn't be useless in about 10 minutes. 750 is really the first decent level. Maybe this is normal. If it is, please forgive me!

Overall it was fun. I would love to see a few more games, rides, etc... for the smaller kids. Mine basically just ran around and stared because after the riding horse there was nothing to do.
