    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a company that removes dead animals? I have one on my property..it's the body of a fox I think. Thanks!

If it's on your property, I think you have to remove it, otherwise the Landscapers can remove it.

Before you discard of it though, call the county first and ask if they want to collect it. They may want to test it for rabies if there is no visible trauma to the body. It's possible it was hit by car.

I went to crittercontrol.com and they are going to come out and remove it today. They seem like the major player in this area for these types of things. Price was good compared to other companies and customer service was good as well.

Where are Larry, his brother Darrell, and his other brother Darrell when you need them! Seriously, glad it worked out and thanks for posting this. I'll make note of crittercontrol.com.

What's wrong with using a shovel and a hefty bag? That's what we did with the raccoon that decided to take its last breath in our backyard.

Agreed. Or ask a neighbor for help rather than pay someone to remove it. Then again, maybe Mikec didn't know they could toss the carcass in the trash or they just could not fathom picking up a dead animal.

I would use CritterControl for trapping if necessary or for removing a huge carcuss too big to fit in the garbage bin.
