    Hi there,

We're new to Broadlands and are going out to eat for the first time this evening. We have 2 young kids - 3 years old & 1 year old. What restaurants nearby do you recommend?

We've heard a lot about Bonefish Grill but are not in the mood for seafood today.

    TIA!

If you're looking for easy bar food, the Green Turtle is a good place. Kids eat free and there are TVs at every table. It is bar food so make sure you know what time you're going in (if there's a game on or something) but its good. I think the closest one is at the Dulles Town Center, but don't quote me on that.

Pizza Go Round is good to, its like a Chuck E Cheese type place, just not as big. Its on Waxpool. Food is pretty good too.

All American Steakhouse tries to turn their bar into a kid friendly place on Wednesday nights. I believe kids even eat free. Buffalo Wing Factory off Ashburn Farm is doesn't mind a bit of noise either and also has kid's specials (Wednesday also I believe). Fuddruckers is good for a burger too. We also will eat early when we take the kids out so hitting other places like Samarai Sushi (kids are sushi freaks like their daddy) and Ford's Fish Shack at 5pm work out just fine as well.

Bertucci's, IHOP (breakfast for dinner - my kids love that) here in Ashburn. Olive Garden in Sterling. Logan's in Sterling. Lots of kid friendly choices within 15 minutes.

If you're going to open it up to Sterling that's a whole different conversation. Chick-fil-a is the mom's best friend I think. Logan's, Sweetwater, Long Horn, Red Lobster, Macaroni grill and Chilli's are all fine early. You get another Red Robin next to the mall, the less family friendly wing's factory, Don Pablo's, Aoba Sushi and a few Thai places as well.
