Leaving Brambleton I took Belmont Ridge to Croson and connected to Moorview and onto Ashburn Village Blvd. Nice shortcut now that Croson connects to BR!

Only thing we need now is a little law enforcement at the four way stop at Clairborn and Crosen. Three times now I've had cars blow through the stopsigns.......

That's for sure...people know that we don't have much traffic enforcement aroundabouts here so they naturally do what they feel like doing...that is going through stop signs...they treat these "stop" signs as if they were "yield" signs instead.

In fact, three days ago, I was on my way home in the evening and coming to a stop at the SAME time as another car was....the car didn't even BOTHER coming to a stop...he just went RIGHT through the intersection as if I wasn't even there.

Absent traffic lights throughout the area, people are going to do what they wanna do if there's no law enforcement around to stop and ticket them.

There is a serious problem with the stop signs on Croson. Or rather.. the lack of using them.

You can pretty much say that about any stop sign in the general area of 20148.

That's fine, I'm not very passive. I feel sorry for anyone who hits me, because there will be a reciprocal effect that an airbag won't save them from.

Odds are you won't do a thing if you are hit, unless you want jail time or other significant legal issues.

I'm not sure traffic lights would help. Stopping at them seems to have become optional lately...

That wasn't predictable at all. Pretty clever. How's that working for you?
