Ok so yes, I'm one of the mini-vans with school magnets and stuff on it - but I do make it look cool (just sayin):signsrockon:.

ANYWAY - someone stole the 3 magnets off my car while it was parked in my own driveway. Wow, that must have been some rush for them. Annoying!

We had one disappear off of ours last year. Didn't know there was such a demand for them that someone would actually steal them??

Did you go through a car wash recently? A few months ago, I had magnets disappear, replaced them, then they disappeared again. I was beginning to wonder who in the world would want these magnets? Then it dawned on me.....I went through the car wash both times......that's where they went......so now I remove them whenever I go through a car wash.

A couple summers ago Kaos' Matthew LaPort tribute magnet was knicked.

You've had both on your car? That's disturbing. How do you justify it? (I kid) Roll Tide!

LOL....well I grew up and lived in Ohio for 30 years, then met my husband that had spent his first 30 years in Alabama. We make it work ;)

That's so weird - I noticed my Loudoun Soccer magnet gone yesterday. I felt it was very recent because of the "round dirt mark"....

Maybe if they're bored enough they can go around putting it back.....

Hmmmmm, also recently lost a Loudoun Soccer magnet AND an Ashburn Ballet one. Not at the same time though and took them off before the car wash and put back on after. I had chalked it up to the rain . . .

Personally, I think this might be a combination of the high heat we've had over the last couple days and the slow degradation of the magnet itself. Over time, these magnets will slowly lose their magnetic power, and the high heat will degrade the material itself, making it flimsy and uneven, reducing the surface contact with the car.

    Just a hunch...
