HOA Question Missing: Tot lots

Soooo....the tot lot by our house is gone. I assume "missing" is probably not the most accurate term. =) It's the one at the end of Fieldthorn Terr. I've also heard that the one by the Nature Center is also gone.

I'm assuming they're being replaced, but I hadn't seen anything about it. Any info??

There was notification in the August newsletter. The support posts had become rotted below grade making the play equipment unsafe. We are currently getting bids for replacement equipment.

I'm curious if you plan to make an executive decision on the style/type, or if you might open it up with a few different options so that we can provide input on what kind of equipment we'd like to see from the "user's perspective." I'm not saying you have to go the latter route (because that could be difficult), but I figured it can't hurt to ask...

 

The new tot lot is out there, but has all the yellow tape around it. Do we know when it will be up and running for the kids to use.....it looks fantastic, and i can see my kids getting lots of use out of it, but i was wondering if there was any chance a toddler swing could replace one of the 2 swings there......we have very few toddler swings around the southern walk area (i dont know where any of them are actually) so it would be great to have one here.

Thanks for upgrading it though......kids cant wait to get on it.

 

The only toddler swings I know of are by the Old Stone House on Waxpool and the Demott Pool.
