Colvin Run has been closed for a few years now. Chef Geoff is now there.

Understood but my question is has Colvin Run gone to another location by chance or they just permanently closed down?

It was my understanding that they were looking to re-locate to another location near Tyson's but that was the last I heard. I suspect that the weak economy which has closed many restuarants made it tough to get adequate financing to open at a new location. Certainly Colvin Run Tavern was busy enough even on weeknights and their closure seemed to have nothing to do with their sales.

They shuttered their doors for good after a lengthy issue over the rent increase.

Maestro closed about 3 years ago. That was probably the best restaurant around. The space stood vacant for about 2 years. Recently Michel Richard opened a restaurant in that space. It's called Michel. I have been and it is very good (maybe not quite as good as Maestro. The same guy behind Central and Citronelle.

@Redon, off topic but right up the street a few paces from French Hound is Highcliffe Clothiers. Hubby gets his suits custom made there, and I think he looks great! Tell Mark I sent you...He'll know TeamDonzi!
