spray paint on trail

Boulder glen trail has been hit by a young girl hooligan - presumably by the lettering and color of choice used in the process - teal/green and pink spray paint on the trail and big rocks.

 

Not condoning, but at least it was no one's personal property.

 

I saw this too and was just logging in to see if anyone else had posted about it. I found more as I walked the trails. I agree, based on the handwriting (Hi J.W.!) and the color choices, I think it was girls. I also found more this morning - in a pink heart down by the stream. Jill W and Kourt in a heart. So... I'm guessing that maybe Jill W.? It's so unfortunate that our nice neighborhood should be trashed so senselessly and while it wasn't someone's personal property, it's our community and the trails, especially boulder glen are one of my favorite parts of living here. It's not cute and it's not funny. It's just rude and disrespectful.

 

We will be getting it removed this week.

 

Hmmm, KOURT is a fairly unusual name. Find Kourt on a student list and you'll find Jill W. and have her pay for the removal....

Sounds like Kourt is the guy she has a crush on, or is going out with. In which case, I doubt you'll get her name from him, because he's either clueless or in love

 

Well, don't ask him if she did the painting...just ask him who likes him. Jill W I'll bet is listed in the student directory of a very nearby school...just sayin' if you guys REALLY want to know whodunnit, it's probably easy to find out.

Just checking in on the removal of the spray paint. As of yesterday afternoon it is still there. And, I'm not sure if you're aware that a bench on the path was painted as well - gold in the middle with splashes of pink.

 

This weather has put many outdoor repair projects behind schedule. Hipefully, we will get back on schedule soon.

Bumping this back up since it's November. Any update since the graffiti is still on the path, the rocks, and the bench?

 

It's still there. It looks so trashy.
