Urgent Restaurant advice needed!

My wife and I thought the other one was making lunch reservations at Clyde's for this Saturday following our son's Confirmation. Once we realized our error, we learned that Clyde's is totally booked (great minds think alike?). So, we need a plan B! Party of 10 with elderly grandparents, varied menu preferably with a good non-fried fish selection, classy but not overblown. Any recommended alternatives? Thanks in advance!

Clyde's Willow Creek is having the Brunch/Lunch with Santa available from 10:30-1:30, so they are pretty booked for large groups between those hours. However, maybe they have something open after that?? I have a reservation for 10 people at Clyde's for after my son's afternoon Confirmation that I'm going to be giving up. I believe it's for 5:00 so probably later than what you want. Do you want to see if we can put it in your name instead of mine?

What about Mimi's Cafe near Dulles? We were there for lunch recently and noticed the back room had been reserved for what looked like an anniversary celebration. Trevinia's (sp?) in the Wegman's Leesburg shopping center - they have a wine room that seats a larger group or the new Firebirds in that same shopping center that just opened up - we've been twice now and really enjoyed it both times. Carraba's in Reston is a smaller intimate Italian location and I believe they do offer lunch times during the weekends (whereas during the week they are closed for lunch).

 

Plus +1 on the recommendation for Lightfoot. This is a great place and our favorite go to.

 

Slight tangent, but I really think Bonefish could do well with lunchtime opening hours at the weekend!

 

Lightfoot and make everyone try the tomato soup, they will thank you forever!

If you like Thai food, Anothai may accommodate your need. They are open for lunch.

 

We've had good luck with large (12 or so) at Not Your Average Joe's in Lansdowne.
