Has anyone had a good experience with a dog obedience class? Looking for recommendations for our new puppy.

Dog Day Afternoon (close to Mom's Apple Pie shop in Leesburg) is good with reasonable rates. We took our 8 week old pup for the basic training there 3 years ago, as an owner you don't forget what YOU learn.

The dogs also get to socialize which is important too.

We used Dog Day Afternoon and Belly Rubs. We were happy with both, but still had problems with our dog's aggression issues. We were super pleased with James at DogU, which is near Costco (http://www.dogu.us). He is wonderful and goes above and beyond!! They offer group and personal lessons.
Also, totally agree with the above comment about Belly Rubs Doggie Day Camp. Our dog loved it!
