Anyone having a problem with their monthly HOA check not making it to the new payment address? Usually my check has been processed by now but noticed it hasn't been deposited yet. Was wondering if it was problem with my bank or if others had noticed this as well. I'm plan on giving the management company a call this week if it still hasn't been processed in a few days.

I use PO Box 7778, seems OK looking at my account although I think I have it set to send on the 7th.

Maybe I'm confused, I thought the address changed for 2012 to PO Box 11983
    Newark, NJ 07101.

Our fees automatically come out on the 1st, and it has not happened yet.
I was concerned about that, but it seems like they're moving slow on other accounts as well?

You do realize that payment is due on the 1st right? Sure, you get a 'grace period' until the 10th, but that's in place in case your payment gets delayed, etc. I suggest you change your settings to send your payments so they arrive by the 1st instead, the actual day they are due...

Oops, did not look closely enough. I have it set to be delivered by the 7th, which means effectively that the credit union sends it on the first. Thanks.

    Same issue here.

My electronic payment was scheduled on 30 DEC 2011, but has not yet cleared my account.

It was sent to the new address in the payment coupon book:
    Broadlands Association, Inc.
    C/O Armstrong Management, Inc.
    PO Box 11983
    Newark, NJ 07101-4983

Their contact number is 703-679-1541. Perhaps I'll give them a call later today.

    Thanks.

I sent my payment on 12/27 to the old address in Philly and Armstrong received on 1/6. They said that all payments sent to the old address are being forwarded automatically.

FYI, the 703-679-1541 number seems to be unmanned. I had better luck calling corporate at 703-385-1133 (push 0 for a rep).

703-679-1541 is the assessment office. Please leave a message there and the call will be returned! In many cases the corporate help desk will not be able to answer assessment questions. Your best bet is always to call the assessment office or the HOA office on site at 703-729-9704.

Our fees automatically come out as well from Armstrong, but it hasn't cleared yet either.

I never received a new payment coupon book. Does that mean I am exempt from paying this year? LOL - I could only be so lucky ;)

Contact Armstrong management immediately. You can also reach out to the HOA staff for assistance. You DON'T want to be in a situation where you aren't paying your dues...

I called today and they said to give it a few more days due to the holidays. We get charged a late fee after 10 business days which I calculated as the 13th. Hopefully they will have processed it by then.

+1, automatic Armstrong payment hasn't come out yet. It usually comes out regularly with no issues. I'll wait to call since there are so many having the same issues it seems like it could be a system wide issue.

    Thanks

I'm getting a little worried.....I don't want to get hit with a late payment fee, especially since we do the automatic direct deposit from our bank to Armstrong to avoid that problem. I can't get through to anyone at the 703-679-1541 number either.

Mine is pending in my bank account today. They seem to be just really late in pulling these this month.

I'm glad I read this...didn't realize that the address had changed until I read this thread. And our Jan. payment was sent to the Philly P.O.

I just called the 703-679-1541 number and got vm, but it had an option of emailing at broadlands@armstrong.net. I'm hoping that the response is quick this way. I wanted to alert them that our dues had been sent, albeit to the old address.

Payments sent to the old address will be forwarded. Another reason why folks should mail in their payment so it arrives by the 1st, as opposed to during the 'grace period'... Remember, payment is DUE ON THE 1ST; the 10 days following that are simply a grace period in case your payment gets delayed in the mail, etc.

Hopefully, final word on the late debits! This was not just an address change but a bank change as well, so payments were debited later than usual. All should return to normal in February. Armstrong is monitoring payments so late fees should not be applied if payments have consistently been paid on time in the past. Should you feel you have been charged a late fee erroneously, please contact me and I will investigate your account.
Thanks for your patience as we make this cost saving change!
