FIOS issues after storm ?

    Anyone else having FIOS TV issues? Internet is working but TV is out. Wanted to see if it was just us or more widespread.

    I'm off Ryan and we have only a couple of channels -fox news and weather for sure, but nothing else that I've seen. I'm not scrolling through all of them. I've been on hold with Verizon for over 15 min. I'm giving up as I 've seen other friends in Ashburn posting the same issues on FB.

    We did the troubleshoot feature the TV said to do and the box rebooted but is still doing a download. The screen says the download should take about a minute but so far it's been about 10.

    Same here.... but we never watch live TV so we wouldn't have noticed otherwise =) VOD/VOIP and IP-based stuff works fine.

    In the grand scheme of things, I am eternally grateful that power is on and AC is working as it should, I can live without TV as long as the other two hold out. Stay cool and fingers crossed we don't see a repeat event today/tonight.

    We're doing the same thing! The upstairs box has been rebooting for over an hour. I'm hoping they get it fixed - want to watch the Women's National Soccer Team beat up on Canada this afternoon.

    My daughter followed the directions to restore everything, it took a while but all channels are back up.

    ESPN was having some problems. I have Comcast and had similar problems - the announcer mentioned that they were having technical issues.

    I think it is a regional issue, not just fios. I would get calls from 1800annoyme, but my wife couldn't call from her work in herndon.

    Hmmm, I have FIOS for phone and internet but Dish for TV. Dish never was a problem. I have been thinking lately on switching to FIOS TV but now maybe I will stick with Dish a little while longer.
