friday july 13 power outage

    We still don't have power (Awbrey Place). From Dominion's website it looks like they've restored power to most of the area, so hopefully we'll be back up soon....

    I show our power going down around 4 and back up around 4:45

    Ours came on for a few seconds around 4:45, but went out again. Now Dominion says they have over 5,000 outages in our area. Our account page says it was taken down for emergency work...

    I wonder if something they're doing is the reason our FiOS tv has shut down twice today. It comes right back up after the box resets, but it's obviously power related, although the rest of our power is fine. We're off Ryan Rd in Forest Manor, so just south of Broadlands.

    7:10 - power is off again

    According to the recording. They are performing emergency service between 6pm and 10pm.
