    Nope, doesn't matter where you're registered, you still have to pay taxes. We moved up from TX about 7 years ago. We left our TX tags on because my husband was only here on temporary assignment. We got reported by a neighbor and had to pay property taxes. I tried to explain to the county that we were temporary, and they said that if we drive on the roads, we have to pay.

    That's the thing, they don't live in FL. I already stated that. They live here FULL TIME and are not military, student, etc.
